FX’s ‘Archer’ drops ISIS acronym, “The Walking Dead” tours, Marvel pays $63K for magnolia trees, Starz renews ‘Survivor’s Remorse’

FX network is stopping the use of an acronym used on the Atlanta-produced show Archer for the past five seasons because it’s also the name of an actual Jihadist group. Good call, FX!

Senoia, Georgia is the home of the AMC television series The Walking Dead, which launches its fifth season Sunday night, and Atlanta Tours is showing you some of the shots used on the show. Welcome to Georgia!

Marvel is paying $63,000 to replace the eight magnolia trees they removed while shooting the Ant-Man movie around Atlanta. I’m sure this is just chump change to them, but thanks ya’ll!

Starz is renewing Atlanta-based Survivor’s Remorse despite its less than impressive ratings for the series’ debut. Clearly, Starz ain’t tripping that people ain’t watching.
