Sundance workshops are coming to Macon! The one-day workshop will be taught by alumni of the Sundance Institute and will teach attendants what it takes to create films.
USA Network has renewed Atlanta-based reality series “Chrisley Knows Best” for a third season following the show’s successful second season debut.
The season three renewal includes 12 episodes featuring Atlanta’s Todd Chrisley, his wife, five children and two grandchildren.
Last week’s opener raked in record setting ratings with a combined audience of more than 7 million total viewers.
“Viewers have embraced the Chrisleys for their witty one-liners, laugh-out-loud moments and heartfelt everyday situations,” said Chris McCumber, President of USA Network in a press announcement. “This family has made an indelible imprint on pop culture, and we’re excited to continue the entertaining journey with them in season three.”
The Walker Stalker Convention ran downtown Atlanta this weekend, where thousands of fans showed up to meet most of the cast of AMC’s hit show “Walking Dead.”

The Oprah Winfrey Network’s new docu-series “2 Fat 2 Fly” is now filming in Georgia.
The network was recently added to a list of films and television series currently in production in the state on ComeTourGa.com.
The docu-series features two best friends Ramone Dickerson and Corey Simmons as they take their food truck business on the road, selling the Columbia, South Carolina duo’s the secret weapon: stuffed chicken wings.
OWN president Erik Logan said in a press release, “This series will be a great addition to our Saturday primetime lineup. The escapades of these two best friends are fun to watch and there seems to be no limit to what they might do in their quest to make their business a huge success.”
OWN ordered eight episodes of the hour-long docu-series, which is expected to air on Saturday nights in early 2015.
